About HyperStream

From the time you wake up to your cell phone alarm to the moment you drop into bed after powering down your laptop, technology has an impact on how you live, work, and play.

All of this new technology requires more and more skilled professionals to innovate, create, develop, test and maintain it. But in Iowa, less and less students are studying science, technology, engineering and math after high school.

That's a problem!

A severe shortage of qualified technology professionals for high-paying, creative, and rewarding positions at Iowa companies will only increase if something isn't done--ASAP!

As the premier member-based technology trade association in the state, the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI) has stepped up to the challenge with HyperStream -- The Tech Hub for Iowa Students. This exciting new program reaches 8th-12th graders in Iowa through long-term partnerships between local schools and tech businesses.

This program isn't just for the math and science whizzes or the students at the top of their class. HyperStream wants ALL students to know about the tremendous career potential in technology through fun, interactive activities both inside and outside the classroom.

When your children's school participates in HyperStream, they'll have the opportunity to learn about how technology plays a role in pursuing their interests and passions from music to the environment, from medicine to agriculture. Engaging projects, action-packed technology clubs and ongoing professional mentoring make HyperStream so much more than a one-shot career day. Encourage your school and your children to get involved in HyperStream!

We're committed to the success of Iowa's students!
